Building a career in the insurance and financial service business can be incredibly rewarding but it takes time and a lot of effort.  At Northwest Farmer-Stockman, Inc. and Basic Financial Solutions, we’ve got thousands of insurance and financial services clients who expect to see us on a regular basis.  If you’re already insurance licensed but struggling to meet people to talk to, consider this:

  • Most of our sales representatives have been with us for years, even decades.  Most received the valuable field training and mentoring by experienced representatives that shortened their learning curve and impacted their ability to earn a good to excellent income.
  • As the years have gone by, some of our most successful representatives have retired leaving their customers without local representation.  It’s for this reason, we’re actively looking for the right people to join our team.  In particular, we’re looking for new representation in the Dakotas, Nebraska, Oregon, Washington and Wyoming.
  • As a new representative, your days will include meeting with current customers to discuss their changing needs as well as meeting new qualified prospects through multiple marketing strategies.  You’ll be busy – and in front of people every day. 
  • Our organization is recommended to the subscribers of the Farm Progress magazines!  It’s this type of recommendation that provides our representatives the credibility needed when meeting new prospects.
